3D Egg-"Spring" Home Decor Tutorial

Happy Monday morning, to you all!!!
It's Peggy Lee here to share with you a little spring inspiration
and an egg tutorial on how I created this
little pretty!
3D Egg-"Spring" Home Decor
Grab a hot cup of coffee and enjoy it's a long blog post,
tons of photo-inspiration....
3 D Egg Tutorial
Grab your favorite paper I used the Mad Tea Party papers...
1. Draw an egg shape onto your papers
and cut out.
2. Fold in half, use a bone folder
to give you a good crease.
3. Distress the egg edges
4. Adhere your egg paper pieces
together
keep going until all the egg paper pieces
are all adhered together
I used about 8 egg shapes
5. I like the shabby look so I distressed
again after adhered...helps hide the uneven edges.
6. Also for another shabby feel, I like to
brush gesso over the edges...optional
All together now decorate to your hearts content!
I used a dollar store candle stick,
Die cut out some flowers, embossed them adhere together....
Nestled the egg in the center of flower on a bed
of cheese cloth!! Added some flowers, pearls and butterfly cut out
of the papers....
A little banner touch-fussy cut out a few banner shapes...
stamped "spring" using Marion's Typo stamp set
adhered to a pink string floss-gesso the edges!!!

Thanks for stopping by today....
hugs,
Peggy Lee

THANK YOU FOR JOINING US!

Garment District Chandelier

Hi folks!  It's a wonderful day to stop by and see some inspiration, so I am happy you could join us!  This little project is MY very favorite to DATE!!  I now have this darling little dress form hanging in my house and it looks amazing!  I love the Garment District Collection- which I am sure I have said lots -- but this wire dress form was PERFECT to use for this line!  I started by cutting tags of all sizes and lengths on my Cricut.  If you are a Silhouette person- that is perfectly fine too!  I loved all the floral papers and the dresses, etc.  I wanted a variety of tags.  Then I pinned them on to the form with my little  safety pins.  Each tag has different decorating elements added -so this piece is a lot of fun!
See all the tags, embellishments and charms??

They are all different!

This little art piece is a favorite!
here's the papers I used!

I hope you will get some Garment District and see what fantastic project you can make!!
Thanks for visiting
